身近な文房具が手触りのいいセラミックで出来ていたら、温もりのあるワークスペースが生まれるのでは。そんな発想から、セラミック・ジャパンと共に作り上げた「セラミックの文房具」。テープディスペンサーは、まるでお茶を注ぐように軽やかに使って欲しくてティーポットをモチーフに。クリップホルダーは、マグネットを仕込んだ枝にクリップを付けていくと、木の葉となって生い茂り、鳥のさえずりが聞こえてくるようです。ワークスペースに新たな物語が生まれ、作業も心地よく進みます。

If the writing utensils we used were made of nice, smooth ceramic, wouldn’t the workspace be transfused with a special kind of warmth? This musing guided us in creating Ceramic Writing Goods, a collaboration with Ceramic Japan. The tape dispenser was designed with a teapot motif, and we took inspiration thinking of it being used as lightly and elegantly as the motion of a hand pouring tea. The clip holders are styled to look like leaves on a tree – prick up your ears and perhaps you can even hear a few birds chirping. Your workspace will be a hive of new stories, and work becomes something to enjoy getting done.
