株式会社キントー、ハンドドリップコーヒー用ツール「SLOW COFFEE STYLE」のブランドイメージ構築から、ネーミング、プロダクト・グラフィックデザイン、コピーライティングまでをトータルで手がけました。一滴一滴、コーヒーが落ちていく。アタマの中をからっぽにして、ゆったりと味わうための「SLOW COFFEE STYLE／スローコーヒースタイル」。「SLOW COFFEE STYLE」が人に何をもたらすのか。その価値をクライアントと共有するために、人とコーヒーの間にめぐる「物語」を組み立てて制作していきました。ハンドドリップでコーヒーをつくり、飲む、という一連の流れが、日常の中の大切な句読点となるように、コーヒーツールもどこか抜け感のあるスロウな佇まいになるようにカタチ作りました。パッケージやリーフレットは、温もりのある段ボール、クラフト紙に、ハンドドローイングの緩いイラストあしらって。ロゴデザインは、実際にスタンプを作成し捺印し印刷。スローな空気感を感じさせるトーンを演出しました。

Drop by drop, the coffee trickles into the mug. SLOW COFFEE STYLE is for emptying your mind and savoring a warm cup of coffee in comfort. Our work included brand image development, naming, product design, and artwork. What is SLOW COFFEE STYLE, and how can it make you happy? In order to share these values with our client, we first developed the idea and then created a story. Just as the process of making and drinking hand-drip coffee is a poignant moment in our daily lives, we also shaped the coffee implements so that they would have a relaxed and “slow” appearance. Likewise, these same values are reflected in the packaging which consists of hand-drawn illustrations on warm cardboard. Even the logo on the package came from a physical stamp actually stamped on.
