ギーギー、トントン。森の奥から、クラフトマンが木を削ったり、釘を打つ音が朝から晩まで聴こえてくる。ちいさな工房の名前は「ATELIER PICORO／アトリエピコロ」。Afternoon Teaブランドの木製ステーショナリー・シリーズは、架空の工房をイメージすることから誕生しました。毎日のタスクに追われるビジネスパーソンが、ふっと肩のチカラを抜ける瞬間をステーショナリーでうみだしたい。書類やDMをスッと立てると街並みになるレターラック、キツツキが「これ読んでね！」とメッセージするメモスタンド、朝と夜の２つの顔を持つ振り子が、心地いいテンポを刻むクロック。木のぬくもりに満ちた色鮮やかなモノたちが、使う人と一緒に夢のあるストーリーをつくりだします。パッケージは、夜の工房に浮かび上がるステーショナリーの影をモチーフにしました。

Carving… Pounding… From morning to night, you can hear the sounds of craftsmen shaving wood and hammering nails from deep in the forest. The little workshop you hear has a name – it is called “Atelier Picoro”. This wood carved series from Afternoon Tea is based on products from this imaginary workshop. Our goal is to create a moment when busy business people can take a quick break to relax in the middle of their busy day. Our product line-up includes: – a Letter Rack in the shape of a rustic village where documents and important letters are placed for easy access – a Memo Stand with a woodpecker’s constant reminder to “Read this!”  – a clock with a double-sided pendulum, one for the morning and the other for night, keeping the time at a comforting tempo The warmth of the wood and the vivid colors of the objects help create this dreamlike story. The packaging is inspired by the shadows of the products cast on the workshop walls at night.
